By using Vakt, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Vakt provides prayer-time tools, reminder settings, prayer records, qibla direction, friend activity, post-prayer reflections, and related spiritual content.
Vakt is designed as a supportive tool. It does not replace your own religious judgment, local mosque guidance, or trusted scholarly sources.
Invitations and rewards
Eligible subscribers may share a time-limited invitation code. If a new customer claims that code and completes a qualifying first paid subscription, the inviter may receive a one-month subscription promotional offer after the stated waiting period.
- The invited customer pays the standard displayed subscription price and does not receive a free trial through the invitation.
- Rewards are limited to six per inviter in a calendar year, expire after 24 months, and can be redeemed one at a time.
- Refunded, reversed, duplicate, self-referred, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible purchases do not earn a reward.
- Reward delivery depends on App Store and RevenueCat eligibility and availability. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Subscriptions
Vakt may require an active auto-renewable subscription for access. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.
- Prices and availability may vary by country or region.
If Apple’s standard End User License Agreement applies in your region, it also governs your use of the app unless we provide a separate agreement.
Prayer-time and qibla accuracy
Vakt calculates prayer times and qibla direction using device location, selected methods, and available system information. Results can vary due to location accuracy, calculation method, device sensors, time zone settings, or local practice.
You are responsible for verifying prayer times and direction when precision is important.
Religious and reflective content
Vakt may show Quran translations, Hadith references, duas, or reflective writing. We aim to handle this content with care, but errors can happen in translation, source metadata, or display.
If you notice a mistake, contact support so it can be reviewed.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Vakt, interfere with backend systems, create deceptive accounts or referral activity, scrape content, harass other users, or use the app in a way that harms other users or the service.
Privacy
Your use of Vakt is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Changes and availability
We may update, suspend, or change features as Vakt develops. We may also update these terms. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimer
Vakt is provided as available, without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
